Wa'alaikom alsalaam,
We[1] have developed an opensource VPN platform[2] which we are launching in weeks time or so as opensource under LGPL for the community to carry on the development with us if anyone is interested.

It can be server and/or server/client and we are more than happy to contribute it to the secure distro once becomes live.
