I appreciate your effort. I'm currently looking into this matter.
Can you please tell me which version of which distro you are using?
Also have you installed all the packages mentioned in the instructions?
Can you tell me which version of KDE you are running?

I do my development on Kubuntu 9.04 + KDE 4.3 .
