Assalamualaikum Yousif, I've just downloaded the latest data file from arabeyes. I found out that the text file does encode tatweel as part of the display text. Are you now saying that you would like to accept this as the way to do about it? Attached is the screenshot oy my latest work with my font. Let me explain a bit of what I have done: 1. The small alef. So far, for now were a stuck with 670, like it or not. However, hope is not lost. I manage to create the font to deal with this issue. As you can see in the screenshot, it seems like the tatweel is there. However, actually, in encoding there is not tatweel at all. The font are able to handle for non left joining case as well (like in aya 6) , all automatically. I'm still working on the hamza. 2. Bitmapped. If you follow the list recently, I've added in 2 bitmap sizes in the font: 16pixel(12pt) and 21 pixel(16pt). The screenshot is at 21pixel. As you can see, it does have a clear looks on screen. For printing, however, it will uses outline (for most laser printer). 3. End of ayah are now automatically enclosed. Just put 06DD+ayah number (arabic number, not latin one). The font will automatically do it's trick. However, this does not work under Internet Explorer, I'm not sure why. Not tested under Linux yet. As you can see, quite a number of things are moving forward. Also, I would suggest you to use my text for distribution, mainly because it has full diacritic marks compared to what you have now. If you would like to use my text and font for oficial Quran project distribution, please let me know. I'll sent you the font and text file. You might need to add the searchtext back to the XML file later. If this is troublesome for you, I'll try to add it before sending it to you. Wassalam.
