Wow ! I am delighted to hear this interest in Bayani ! That's something... And
it's the good news of this day :-)

1. a general question :What will be the relation between this project
and GNUPlot. I mean, is it an arabized front end or not. Will the
developers "I would like to be one of them" use the code of gnuplot in
some how ( ex. API)?
No. Bayani is developed from scratch. It is not a front end of GnuPlot.
However, if you are interested to implement the missing features, that would
be exciting. Be sure to read the developer-list archives about the main
purpose of Bayani.
2. a technical question for me to learn: What do you call the fit
algorithm? I mean what is the math. behind it?
Actually, I wrote that algorithm just for fun :-) It's far from being
performant (it gives some funny results sometimes with rather easy to fit
data) and the plan is to implement some "real" algorithms: resources about
that exist all over the net.
GNU Scientific Library GSL have great functions that are very useful
for curve fitting (not only linear). (
http://www.gnu.org/software/gsl/ ) I think it can bey helpful. Curve
fitting is very interesting for many areas from physics to economics. I
think such a program will have useful application in the universities.
I am actually the only developer of Bayani. There are "lots" of TODOS (in
fact, you can't even imagine the number :-). Please let me know if you are
interested to work at least on one of the two issues above. There is also the
postscript issue, but it may be boring.
Sure, I am interesting in the work.
If you want to test Bayani make sure to download the CVS version and not the
released one (which is now very outdated):

You are more than welcome if you want to contribute. You can start right away,
just let me know :-)
