Hi,
i did a the wrapper function but i need you to take a look at it, it seems
that there is something that is supposed to happen but it is not!
i will explain more; as i understood from Nadim, after doing the wrapper
function we should see un-connected arabic letters instead of the garbage
glyphes which are shown now.
i ran the original Putty first b4 testing the changes, and everything was
fine i.e. shaping bidi, u can read the whole file without any problems.
there were 2 options that i tried while i was working on the changes:
ETO_GLYPH_INDEX ---> no further language-specific processing is
required.
ETO_IGNORELANGUAGE ---> loses international scripting support
check the link 4 more info
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/gdi/fontext_2ks4.asp
- when i used the first one things were messed up even b4 logging in, no
english no arabic letters were showed.
- now with the second one only english letters were viewed, arabic ones
where some un-understandable shapes,
here is the a link to where the windows.c file is
http://www.geocities.com/musab_alrawi/WINDOW.C.txt search for the function
wrapper_textout.
Please take a look at it and let me know is this result is the one we want
to get to?
Sincerely,
Musab Basil Al Rawi
