Hi Eyal,
I suggest you join the bidi list at:
http://freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/bidi
and raise the discussion there. People there have lots of
experiene with these stuff, and are starting to write down an
specification or cross-platform bidi handling. This is very a
good opporunity to jump in.
