Anmar,
[munzir at localhost Desktop]$ xlsfonts |grep "vera sans mono"
-bitstream-bitstream vera sans mono-bold-i-normal--0-0-0-0-m-0-iso8859-1
-bitstream-bitstream vera sans mono-bold-i-normal--0-0-0-0-m-0-iso8859-15
-bitstream-bitstream vera sans mono-bold-i-normal--0-0-0-0-m-0-iso8859-9

reflects that those fonts _DON'T_ support Arabic, doesn't it?

If you happen to see Arabic characters/glyphs when using this font it's
because of aliases.
