I don't see how you could ever escape CVS - its required in order for us
to keep track of changes. What I'll instrument is a means to take-in
suggestions from the general public, have them be scrutinized by someone
and then (somehow - yet to be determined) systematically have them be
added to CVS and trigger a regeneration of the DICT database.

This should really have nothing to do with QaMoose - a simple offline
script could be created to do this for ya.

I'm gathering if you modified the Arabic translation, you'd want to
keep it as such which would mean the involvement of CVS. I think you
are simply trying to replace your Kbabel with QaMoose (which is not
entirely the purpose, but its something to consider).

I'm with you there except for the "mysql based for the public web queries".
All public web queries will be of the DICT server. The mysql will only
come into play for words suggested by the public (as additions and/or
corrections) - how those mysql words make it back to CVS and subsequently
the DICT database is for later discussion.
