The problem here is that Gtk 2.4 will depend on xft and you can NOT disable it using GDK_USE_XFT=0 What does this mean ? It means that we are going to loose any arabic score points we have gained unless we find where the problem is. My main problem is that i can't reproduce this problem on my debian woody with xft compiled from source!!
