Hi Mohammed,
To begin with, the encodings you mention will work just fine for us, i.e.
> Windows-1256
> iso-8859-6
> and ofcourse UTF-8
However UTF-8 will be the most important one. I myself don't even see a need
for the first two ones.
The one very important point, where Farsi and Arabic are different, are the
"extra" characters that Farsi uses, compared to Arabic.However this should be
no concern for Katoob.
