Dear Nadim Shaikli,
I will send by separate mail a package to you which is a prototype
of keyboard mapping for mined as you desired.
With ESC k (or Alt-k if xterm is configured suitably),
you can switch between unmapped and Arabic-mapped keyboard.
Please tell me if this is what you would like and if you have any
suggestions.
The following is missing from the current implementation:
* automatic disabling of mapping for commands and menu control
* other keyboard mappings than Arabic
* interactive setup for mapping selection
* environment setup for mapping selection
* initial activation of mapped keyboard
* two-step reverse mapping to support non-US keyboards
* menu integration (switching, visible indication)
* documentation
