Have no idea. Is there a reason why you want to run it as user 'cvsuser'
instead of 'arabeyes' ?

There are some perl scripts that get run each and everytime an email is
received (~arabeyes/bin/mail/mail_archiver.pl). This script gets called
from mailman and so we could stick into one of those files and/or piggyback
it as necessary.

Great question - last I heard that anmar was doing it though I have no
recent confirmation.

Move (while preserving attributes (ie. cp -p)) to say ~arabeyes/REMOVE_this/
so as to see if anyone complains (in terms of scripts, etc). If nothing
gets flagged for a week or so we can simply remove it (add a README file
with a list of which files came from which dirs just in case in that same
REMOVE_this dir).

Fully agreed. We started down this path and never completed and no one
picked up the slack. If you have a list of them that need to be in the
repository, do please publish it and/or feel free to commit 'em.

Let's do same as is noted for #4 above - move/copy the files and let's
see if anything breaks or anyone complains.

Agreed 100% and I __really__ really want to thank you for taking the
initiative and time (and effort) to look into all of this. 'core' has
been non-existent of late and I don't see a change brewing (I'm just
too tired of playing the policeman all the time), so I'm not quite sure
what to do about the current lack of involvement; alas...
Thanks again & Salam.
