This email is attempting to revive an important topic that has very
unfortunately gone silent (last I heard about it was early Dec 2004
on this list - check the archives). The idea sprang from last year's
evolution party [1] (note the session given by 'Pablo Saratxaga').
Mr. Arafat Medini graciously volunteered to work on putting a document
together to "educate" developers on how to perceive various settings
with regard to Arabic (for instance how/where to set the various
buttons, scrollbars, etc). The document, among other things, was meant
to showcase what is required for a developer to address in order to
produce a comfortable working GUI environment focused around an Arabic
setup/locale.
Any further news on this and/or updates ?
PS: we are all busy, so incremental additions of minutes a day does
add up at some point (hint hint).
