Concerning the vertical offset.
I am not afraid that the original vertical offset is not uniform.
It had seemed to me that the Arabic letters were all offset vertically
by 200 EM units.
However, the letters 'jeem', 'ha', etc seem not to have been.
Could you possibly check this in the last distribution version?
