Cookie is not meaningless, take for eg. the "3ud" it is a musical
instrument but it's name means a branch or stick! or Kanun etc...
And here you are making the mistake that you think : cz cookie means in
reality cakes then the word cookie for that file is only a symbolic
description, well in reality cookie ALSO means that file too! it's the
evolution of the language, cookie is not meaningless in this sense and
it's TRUE meaning became related to computers and files TOO!!

Fadha is fadha it's a geometrical 3D dimensional entity, faragh may be
empty space for eg. but for eg. we have here in Germany "fadha almar'a
wal jil i'thaani" Well I don't go there but I assume it's not empty ;)
