Re: E D S for Abdulaziz

Salam,

Accordind to the definition of nickname :
1- A descriptive name added to or replacing the actual
name of a person, place, or thing.
2- A familiar or shortened form of a proper name.

I don't think that :
اسم مستعار
is the appropriate traduction;
I have proposed :
تعريفك
because in my opinion it suggest to the user to
introduce him self by the name that he choose for him
self;
I suggest also :
اسم الشهرة

It's not an hesitation; Before adopting a new word, we
MUST be sure that there is no arabic word equivalent;
And secondly, we must think about the next generation
of computer users that will use computer with an
arabic OS and arabic softwares : they, in my opinion
and hope, will find & use a 100% arabic interface
(even no FTP, HTTP or ASCII word in it;).

People living in Quebec have suffered from old english
governments of Canada; that's why they don't want to
use english word.
