Not to sound repetitive, but that is exactly what QaMoose was supposed to
help us avoid.  It was setup to assist in maintaining a level of consistency
across all translated terms.

I will try to work on a perl script, time permitting, that would traverse
all directory trees to gather all terms and their translations (so as to
upload those into QaMoose - a helping hand if you will :-)

I highly suggest populating and using QaMoose whenever you translate - its
a good habit to nurture and abide by.
