Well .. I agree with Chahine .. look into the work PING .. what does it mean 
in real life, it means making a sound :-) why did they use thw work ping ? 
becuase they took it from the game ping-pong .. where one side sends 
something (request) and the other send something back (respose)..
The work ping it self does not mean "Itisal" or "Ijra2 Itisal" or what ever, 
nevertheless it was ysed in this context with no much trouble ..

Besides the PING does not establish connection "Ijra2 Itisal" .. it simply 
sends bytes to somewhere to see it if is alive, and how much is the 
conneciton speed, numbder of hops and so on ..

one other thing .. 'ping' is a unix command, and we will not translate unix 
commands as it may mislead .. I prefere using the word ping when refering to 
the command, and using an arabic word such as "bing" it self in arabic 
letters to indicate the process .. there is no one word that a can tell you 
what a ping is, even the word ping it self does not tell you what a ping is 
:-) see what I mean ?
