Salam all ..
Please note the email I received bellow, strangly I got the sma eidea dn
feeling that such Arabic HOWTO is needed after seeing the Spanish and Hebrew
HOWTO in linuxdocs.org .. Such document to tell about the status of
Arabization (and how to add arabic keymap difinision, fonts, support to
consol, and so on) is needed..
Such document SHOULD be in the first place in Arabic, and then if there is
enough interest be in English. Enough Arabeyes documents in English, this
started to sound like to joke to some, including me :-)
I am willing to start such document, but as you know I will nt be able to
write it all by myself, it will be an Arabeyes document that sum the status
and the efforts and guide through the Arabic support to Linux ..
I hope to hear a little about what you think ..

Salam Isam
I hope you remember me.
I am Mohamed Eldesoky ,old silent member .
Also I am a member in Linux-Egypt.
Congratulations for releasing the KDE 3 Beta 2
We hope to find the final release soon.
Actually I have an idea.
Why don't you get the chance that in Linux-Egypt we have many users ( over
300 ) and most of them are willing to use arabic with linux. If those
people are unable to make their linux speak arabic ,then all your work is
useless !!! right ?? So,if you can write an article or something that
describes how to install KDE 3 and the keymaps, fonts ...etc. that will help
them alot, plus it will help in the feedback process before the final
release. IF you intend to do so ( or any other Arabeyes member ) please make
sure that it can be understood from newbies as well ,of course we have some
very newbie members to linux and to computers. Also,we publish articles in
arabic...if it is hard,we can handle it. You can check the site here
