Salam Mr. Waddah ..
Well you don't have to worry about the Arabic support and Arabization of
Koffice .. The Arabeyes team (http://www.arabeyes.org )had been working in
KDE 3 arabization for 6 months now, and Koffice is where we reached now ..
koword is almost done.. and kspread is underway.. in general I guess that the
KDE translation of the main parts ( including koffice ) will be done by the
KDE 3 release ..

If you are interested in joining the Arabeyes efforts to accelrate the
translation we would me more than happy .. Please join the 'doc' list for
Arabeyes to translation process :
http://www.arabeyes.org/mailman/listinfo/

Take a look a the KDE translation project page for updates in the status :
http://www.arabeyes.org/projects/kde.php

And to know more about how can you help please check out FAQ :
http://www.arabeyes.org/faq/

We would be more than happy to help you ..

Dear Mr Costin

I work at small Engineering Consulting firm in Yemen called GES. We truly
intend to transform our business to Linux. However, there is one small
problem, some of the paper work has to be done in Arabic. There are only
plane text Arabic editors for Linux. They cannot fulfill our needs in a
professional way. I think the Arabisation of KOffice will suffice, at least
in the near future, since many people in the business and academic arena
really need to write in Arabic. They can deal with English menus and
 documentation.

Best wishes

Waddah A Al-Ashwal
