Dear Nadim,

Many thanks for the snapshots.

The images show a handwritten imitation of the metal typography (designed by
a team of Germans by order of King Fuad of Egypt). There is no significant
difference from the examples I emailed.

It would be interesting if we could find authorised Qur'anic examples that
have fathatan on top of the alif.
