Salam Arabeyesers,
Some time ago it was suggested that we should have a list of
applications with the Arabic support status. Hence was
http://www.arabeyes.org/download/documents/distros/sais-en/asl-apps.html.
I have made up a wiki page, http://wiki.arabeyes.org/SaisApps.
It serves as a simple way to suggest a program for other people to
comment about. I have already added four programs, some of them not with
full info, to make the point that if you have a good program you can
suggest it, even without full analysis.
I hope that this page will show the programs under Arabeyes radar at any
time. We need the list for multiple reasons:
- to focus on the applications that we need to help supporting
- to tell users the usable apps
- for us in the distros project to make good assessments of distros.
Any suggestions about the format or the idea are welcome here, any
additional programs are welcome in the wiki.
By the way, to add a program, go to the end of the wiki page and add:
=== Kasct fonts ===
Version:: 1.4
Functionality:: fonts
Importance:: @USER@ believes it is critical
Comments:: Is it included in fedora?
remember you need a space before the words Version, Importance, etc and
two colons after it.
Salam,
Muhammad Alkarouri
