I kindly ask Thomas to please stay on this list as his knowledge is certainly 
very extensive in this area.

I'd also like to ask Muhammad to read some of Thomas' work on the internet 
and he'll realise inshaa'allaah that Thomas is very knowledgeable in the 
area and a great friend of the arabs and of islamic culture.

It would be a great shame for both parties if the debate ended here.

BTW I am not an arab and have experienced a lot of arab 'chauvinism' in my 
life too, but I've never found it here so I hope you give people here the 
benefit of the doubt.
