Re: free linux arabic book

Mr. Rahal had forwarded this to a few of us and I thought it was of
such value that I'd like to share it with the entire community. The
email has been edited slightly as permission was not sought (nor
given) to go public with this - hope it's OK.

Moayyad, this is wonderful work !!! Keep it up, this is very
much needed and is sought after in order to educate the masses
and raise awareness. I'm sure you will get license info from
others on the list that know that kinda of thing better than I.

Once your account issues are settled you should be able to upload
it to CVS and make whatever changes you like to do. Do please
settle on the license and possibly look into porting the document
(or book) into an sgml format. Here is a template that we often
refer people to,

  http://cvs.arabeyes.org/viewcvs/doc/template.sgml

I'm hoping to have your book be reflected on Arabeyes' Resources or
Documentations pages. Mr. Elzubeir, any thoughts ?

That info should have been noted to ya while you were registering.
In any regard, if you are ever on IRC, I (or others online) could
help you in real-time, otherwise do please send mail to 'contact'
with your info and it will be taken care of promptly.

You are highly encouraged to subscribe to the mailing-lists, it's
Arabeyes' cornerstone and sorry for the delay in getting back to
you.

Salam.
