A better solution, IMHO, is to coordinate with the arabic team for internationalization in mandrake, I hope they will push things better, and any testing/developing can be helped by arabeyes members. A page explaining the situation with the Mandrake distro should be a welcome addition to the distro project in arabeyes. For mandrake, I believe you can make a single http repository and add it to urpmi for these packages. At least I was having such a thought for redhat (making a apt or yum repository).
