Re: Arabic vs Indic digits

1- And Comoros too, as the last country to enter the League of Arab States (22
States).

2- Other countries which are not members of the League, such as Chad, Eritrea,
Central African Republic, Israel (Arabs of 48), Maldives, Niger and Western Sahara
use the Arabic language, but I am not sure whether Arabic is an Official Language
in these countries or not. The same also applies to the following countries on
your list: Afghanistan (speaking Pushtu, Dari Persian, other Turkic and minor
languages including Arabic), Iran (Farsi (Persian), Azari, Kurdish and Arabic) and
Pakistan (which has Urdu as a national language, English as an Official language,
and also Arabic as a spoken and written language).

If you are searching for all the countries where there are Arabic speaking
people, the list would be too long (think about Arabs living in the USA, France,
etc.). If you are only seeking countries which has Arabic as an official language,
I think that a more complete research is needed on the countries I mentioned in
the second paragraph.
