Now, this sounds different from the other thread ;) and yes it seems
reasonable :)
I'll personally try to be clearer about the objectives/deadlines/tasks etc and
will try to update the projects page for which I'm responsible (ie Mandrake &
Fedora). I hope other maintainers will do the same.
A quick summary:
1- Mandrake is 100% translated. QA is about to start and Arabic will be in
current/future releases of Mandrake without issue: we just need to keep with
updated POs.
2- Fedora is 90% translated. There are only 1000 BIG strings left. We will
hopefully finish that before FC3 release (no plan yet) and keep up with
updates of other POs in the meantime. QA is to happen after that. Arabic will
be in FC3 and next.
So, currently for these projects we need less translators as previously. I
think future translators and those who have been working on Fedora and
Mandrake (Ghareeb/Ishaq/Tarek/..., not to name them ;) Should now work on a
project of their choice. What about KDE (suggestion) ? Zawawi ?
Thanks for the reminder Nadim,
Salam,
