I am familiar with *TeX (it was the first form of documentation we used before we moved to DocBook). This does sound like a "short-term" solution and well worth trying ;) However, this solves the PDF problem, temporarily. Not to say that setting it up is a nightmare in the making ;) What about the HTML output? P.S. Please Cc' (doc at arabeyes dot org) in your replies as well if you can.
