Ossama has faced this same problem lately. He tried many things and ended by a Mandrake 9.0 installation (he was under redhat I think) ;)

Well, I have no idea about the origin of this problem. What I would recommend for the time being is that you work on the translation without building the database.

Please give more details about your linux distribution and kbabel version. Maybe this will help in resolving this problem.

Again, don't spend much time on it. It is not vital.

Hi guys,
It's me again! Sorry I've been very disturbing lately!! but I have one
more thing, forgive me.

I want to create a dictionary using KBabel, I've read the great
Translator Guide made by Mr. Youcef Rahal and our great translators at
http://www.arabeyes.org/guide/translator/tools.html but it was saying:


Go to Settings->Configure Dictionary->Translation database.

I don't have Translation database there!! I only have PO Auxiliary and
PO Compendium! Please advice me on how to create my own database.
