TSClient - Arabic

Have a look at the tsclient page, with Arabic screen shots of it.

There is a problem of font breaking when using 7arakat (Kashida), any idea?
I am using RedHat 9 and the same problem exists on both GNOME and KDE.
I tried many fonts but the same problem exists.
Also, how can I get GNOME to change the display to RTL instead of default LTR?
