Heh,ok,of course that could also be; at least now I know his real EMail

Yepp, we're using the standard GNOME 2.0 techniques and they're
supporting UTF-8 & Pango should support Arabic without many big
problems.. but...

 gtranslator is currently in CVS _HEAD_ on the way to be GNOME 2.0
ported, the current sources there are proted to GNOME 2.0 but not
touched with love and applied a new beauty day of coding :-) But it
works under GNOME 2.0 -- somehow, somewhere at least ;-)
