Salam ..
I noticed that some of the files turn out to be full of mistakes .. and it
seems that the cause is that some of you are using Yudit ..
Yudit is a nice text editor that supports arabic under linux .. BUT it has
some problems , for example it uses special characters to manage
Bi-Directional text .. these special characters are not in Unicode or UTF-8
.. so it turns out that Yudit can't make a 100% Unicode arabic/english
compatable text .. SO it can't be used for the translations ..
I know that Yudit is a nice tool .. but there is other ways to do the
translation under Linux :
- Use VIM 6 with arabic Patch . ( see
http://www.arabeyes.org/projects/vim.php)
- Use Kbabel with arabic keyboard in KDE enabled. (see
http://www.montada.com/linux4arab/showthread.php?s=&threadid=45416)
These solutions are very usable and are used by some of the translators ..
Please stop using Yudit for the translation, and start using another editor
.. and let's try to recover your lost work in yudit in some way...
