Alright,
Let's get some organization here. I have imported the kde-i18n/templates from
the KDE cvs server, and put it on Arabeyes
(http://www.arabeyes.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb/doc/kde-i18n/).
Those of you who already have accounts on arabeyes.org will be contacted
individually about their account. Those of you who are wanting to contribute,
please email contribute at arabeyes dot org with your full name, email address (duh),
and any other relevant information (like, if you are interested in becoming an
editor).
So, you have received your account information, and you are ready to work.
What's next?
First, checkout the arabeyes/doc/kde-i18n module (or directory). If you are
not sure how to do that, please consult the HOWTO on the CVS page. If you are
still unable to do this, post a message to general at arabeyes dot org dot
Then, you will take one file, and translate it. Any file, but for now, stick
to the files in the root directory. After you have made changes, DON'T save it
with the .pot extension, instead, save it with the .po extension. For example,
kdelibs.pot will become kdelibs.po
Once you are done with your work for the day (or the night!), add and commit
the file to the arabeyes cvs repository. This is all shown on the HOWTO (on
the CVS page). If you still have questions, don't hesitate to ask.
Please make sure you 'update' (cvs update) the files, so when others have
committed changes to the CVS repository, they are reflected on your working
copy (to avoid conflicts).
