Ahmed,
Excellent :)
I hope you can free up some time so we can work on unifying the two
packages. Please let me know if you do.
I had a look at the code, that's a job very well done :)
I especially like the graphics.
Some new changes have been introduced in Gnome, that might be of
interest to both of us. First, it is recommended to use libglade
instead of generating source code.
http://developer.gnome.org/doc/API/libglade/libglade.html
And I kind of understand why: loading the xml file is so much easier
than generating code every time a UI change is introduced, + it is so
much less of a mess.
Also, there is a new GtkStatusIcon class, so there is no need to use
eggtrayicons any more.
I'm hoping to merge some of the graphics and code. Ahmed, I'm also
hoping that you maintain this. I've gone to great length to make Prayer
Times' code clean and readable. There are HACKING and other necessary
files (the bootstrap should be fine).
Regarding the status of Gnome Prayer Times, it now has a tray icon, and
thanks to adn, it has a complete working bootstrap (adn even produced
a .deb package!).
