Thank you Mohammed Adn�ne Trojette for the hint to delete the second 
appearance of po/Makefile.in in configure.in.

Maybe, libquran isn't yet installed on my system? But I don't understand 
why, because dpkg -L libquran gives all the required files I need:

Also adding the environement variable doesn't help. What am I missing 
here?:
