I don't know, But let's see what we have:

printing: Katoob can produce correctly shaped postscript files with BiDi
support. I was talking with nadim about making it a separate executable
but it'll depend on pangoft2 and freetype. "I can't get rid of pango as
I didn't find enough resources about postscript especially with Arabic."

gtk & glib: I'm sure that gtk and glib 1.x can be patched to correctly
handle Arabic, But is this really required ?? Gtk 2.x are alright.

terminal emulator: mlterm is Ok for now. More than Ok actually.

XFree86 itself: I don't really know, I neither have the time nor do I
have resources to do anything with X!

Fonts: I think that kacst fonts are not that bad. We still need fonts.

On screen keyboard: I remember Nadim saying No ? ;-)
