The port was created quite a while ago. Do check out the port in
http://www.arabeyes.org/project.php?proj=freebsd-ports. FreeBSD
4.9-RELEASE is out, this means during the next Bento cycle marcus@ will
create the arabic virtual category. This will contain several arabic
applications/fonts/etc...
A PR was already sent for the Katoob port,
ports/57511
It will be committed when arabic/ is created.
