Yes, it does take a little getting used to (cursor behavior in a bidi
environment). So you installed the debian package? Or did you compile from
source on debian? Please clarify.
Do let us know how it goes on other systems.

Actually I tried it in VI and it worked nicely (with a little bit of
hick ups or I need to get use to the way it handles bidi)
I installed it on Debian only, I'm using that machine for testing before
I do anything on Redhat (my expected DEV box)
I'll work on getting it running on the Redhat Inshallah this weekend.
