Re: phonetic search status



You can use the libquran search with the translated xml. I will upload a new version of search.c these days.
But my idea was to add this data to quran.ar.xml in <PHONETIC> tag in every aya and to port the phonetic search algoritme to libquran.


BTW, I saw you didn't remove all vowals from the phonetic data. My idea to remove all vowals was because vowals are in every language spoken different. Like 'ou' in engels sounds the same as 'u in spanish and 'oe' in dutch

insha'Allah, just been very busy this week with studies and
such.  hopefully what i can do is make use of the current search
and just include a transliteration xml file that's required to
do the transliteratory search (or generate it from the arabic
one if they so choose).  what do you think.
