arabeyes.org is a project that aims to support Arabic language in GNU/linux. 
Examples of work done now is translating KDE, Gnome, making a free online 
arabic dictionary, coding some programs for the Arabic and Muslim community 
like duali, qtquran, katoob, patching vim to support Arabic and so on. Great 
progress is being made. If you need any more info, don't hesitate to write to 
the mail list.
