Ah, sorry for the late answer. I've been really busy with the teaching of two new courses for 8 hours a day and preparing the rest of the day.
I should be having a vacation starting July 1'st or so, and probably I'll travel with bus (15KD from Kuwait to Jordan :) ), and I can save money this way for the project and my self as well.
So, brother Isam, please provide me with a list of what software you may need or anything from Kuwait.
I've just got a copy of RedHat Linux 9.0 while I was typing this email :P. Also, I tried to download HaydarLinux 1.0 but seems like the Internet connection I have these days is really slow, and I'll have to wait for some time.

By the way, talking about the font for the Holy Qur'an, what happened to the font that Youcef was working on?
Speex.org also released version 1 of it's speex protocol. Is there any plan it would be used in Qur'an project?
I really haven't got time to try it just yet, but I'll do soon to check if it's quality is better.

regards,
Ossama Khayat
