Hi,
When I visited
http://www.arabeyes.org/resources.php
I noticed that the following comment has been added to
Yudit - Unicode Text Editor:
Yudit has Arabic support and basic BiDi support,
but its unsuitable for PO translations due to hidden chars
Please check up the latest version of Yudit (2.7.2) at
http://www.yudit.org/
http://www.yudit.org/download.html
and see if it servers the purpose now. At Yudit-2.7 full
bidirectional support has been aded: it means that
implicit bidi can also be used. By default this is
used, unless the user specifically wants embedding by
pressing the embedding buttons.
I agree though that explicit embedding should be avoided:
I'm yet to see an application, other than Yudit, that does
not throw exception when editing rendering tetxt with
explicit BiDi marks :(
Cheers,
Gaspar
