Re: CVS/scripts restructuring

Salam,

Good !

However, please put (let) checkuser.py under admin/. It is a script to admin users accounts. It's thus a little related with cvs, but not completely.

Speaking about the scripts: I tried to do 'cvs update' under arabeyes, but it seems that two links are making a mess in there. I dont know what those links are there for. Nadim ?

Anyway, we need to cvs update so we can add scripts to the crontab (docs-sync).

Youcef.

PS: Mohammed, as far as i'm concerned, you can put restructuremysqlcvs.py in the attic (but dont remove it completely :)). It needs however to be used one last time after the cvs_log.py is updated (to process the recent commits).

Salam,

I am about to re-structure the cvs/scripts module. It's starting to look
messy.

admin/
  backup/
    backup.py
    backup.conf

cvs/ cvs_log.py cvs_mail_log.pl validate-cvs-log.sh addcvsuser.awk checkuser.py restructuremysqlcvs.py (this really shouldn't be on cvs, but ok)

mail/
  ext_archiver
  mail_archiver.pl
  mbox_archiver.pl
  mdir2mbox.pl

www/
  docs-sync/
    docs-sync.py
    docs-sync.cfg
  loc_bar.pl
  loc_upload.pl
  swishe_index.pl
  tran_update.pl
  addutf8.awk

This is probably going to be the first of some resturcturing I will be doing.. but as far as the public cvs is concerned, this is the most significant.

Update your CVS working copies accordingly ;)

later
Mohammed Elzubeir
