Your CVS account should be active now, with the new passowrd you have created.
If you have any further issues please re-optn this bug report.

As for the XML documents, it was never possible to view them on CVS without
seeing the XML or SGML (as what they used to be).. or even TeX (as what they
initially were) without seeing the codes. It was _always_ only human readable on
the website. So, I have no idea what you are talking about there -- but at least
now you know what to look for ;)
