The idea was that the sf.net page was supposed to be a mirror of our homepage
(in case things collapse or the machine does down or...) What needs to
happen is a more robust means to copy and setup the data there. Last time
I looked on our sf.net directory things seemed royally out of place and
we need to correct that ASAP. The dynamic portions are supposed to continue
to point to our homepage (including the registration portions) and I thought
that was the case in the PHP code (ie. the PHP code takes into consideration
if you are a mirror or not, no ?). There was also talk about having a 1-day
delay mirror in which the mailing-lists, bugs, etc are 1-day behind with that
mirror disallowing logins/web-updates (so as not to have a data scatter
problem).

In any regard, this needs a bit of attention to get right and to setup
correctly once-in-for-all.

Thanks Ossama for bringing it up - do please keep harping on it if nothing
gets done. Now we need someone to champion the work (given our lack of PHP
willingness for some reason).

Salam.

 - Nadim
