I'm not sure I'll be able actually but even if I fix it, I'm not going to submit the patch to them as I don't want my code to be under their commercial license too. I didn't have a look atthe code yet but I guess the problem is in the canvas they are using. Shaping should be fine. either via pango (I guess they are using gtk) or using nadim's shaping code (I ported it to C from perl. The code needs restructuring).
