The license you are looking at is not the GPL license.

As I wrote earlier, the GPL announcement is here:

My understanding is that creator of software has the right to license the same code-base under different licenses. Rough example would be Trolltech's licensing of Qt for KDE and commercial purposes.

The "Nafees Web Naskh" is open source under all licenses. On the request of Urdu OSS community, it has been specifically and separately issued under GPL.

What do you mean by "non-GPL uses"?

What is wrong with the CRULP License is this (at least):

  | The Font Software may be sold as part of a larger software package
  | but no copy of one or more of the Font Software typefaces may be sold
  | by �itself.

Isn't this incompatible with GPL?
