sorry for the numerous emails... however...

so basically where i last stand is i have automake-1.4 and
aclocal-1.4 -- i can compile libquran no problem now..

but gnomequran is giving me problems... vorbis test case fails
the second time around (not the first time -- ie not when i do
./configure, but when i do make) -- 
1. i tried with the --disable-vorbis-test and when i do that, i
get:

2. i tried installing ao again (rather than using the one
installed by dropline, which is the same version required) --
and vorbis lib (1.00) -- and configure to look at the same
directories, no luck.

by the way, i am able to compile qtquran no problem at all....
any help would be greatly appreciated.
