alsalam alaikum wa rahamtullahi wa barkatuh.
by installing automake-1.4, i was able to fix half the problem..
ie now i can compile libquran from source no problem... but i
still have an error when i try to compile gnomequran, namely
about vorbis being missing -- the first time around (ie
./configure --prefix=/usr/local), it says Vorbis... yes...) --
second time around (ie when i type make, it ./configures again
for some reason) -- i get "vorbis program compiled but could not
be run" -- looking at config.log i see...
configure:3782: checking for Vorbis
configure:3825: gcc -o conftest -g -O2 -I/usr/local/include
conftest.c -L/usr/local/lib -lvorbis -lm -lvorbisenc >&5
configure:3828: $? = 0
configure:3830: ./conftest
./configure: line 1: 31383 Segmentation fault
./conftest$ac_exeext
configure:3833: $? = 139
configure: program exited with status 139
i have the recommended versions of expat and libao... speex,
however, is at 0.9.90 -- i'll give upgrading that a try perhaps
but in the meanwhile any ideas?
jazakumAllah khairan.
walsalam alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barkatuh.
