its gnome 2 is very bad in Arabic and its very stupid and hard in installing
Arabic
anyway the steps to install Arabic is :
1- install unecode fonts
2- download the Arabic keyboard map file (xmodmap.ar) (find it in the mail
archive) and install it in GNOME_2_PATH/share/xmodmap/ (make chmod o+r
GNOME_2_PATH/share/xmodmap/xmodmap.ar)
3- run the switcher panel
